With a proven track record of success, we're now seeking talented individuals to join our team and help us continue to make a difference. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative on this project, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers of the Florida Department of Commerce. You will work closely with our team to ensure that callers receive the highest level of service, support, and professionalism. This is a temporary project with a chance of contract extension, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills while making a positive impact on our customers. **Responsibilities** * Utilize standard call-center technology, including telephones, email, and web browsers, to assist callers in completing online applications and responding to telephone inquiries within set time parameters. * Report problems through an easy online system and respond to written and telephone inquiries from claimants and third-party contacts. * Participate in training, team meetings, and reviews of internal and external communications to stay up-to-date on regulations and policies. * Adhere to provided schedules and privacy rules set forth by the programs we serve. * Complete all assigned training as necessary and fill out timesheets accurately. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies as they apply to the various programs we service. * Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. **Education, Skills, and Qualifications** * High School diploma or equivalent required. * Minimum 1 year of customer service/call center experience required. * Must be able to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently. * Experience working with a PC and the Windows operating system is required. * Ability to type a minimum of 20 WPM. * Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to organize simultaneous tasks. * Ability to work as a member of a team. * Experience working with the Florida Department of Commerce (Unemployment) is highly preferred. **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly rate of $17.50 per hour. * Comprehensive paid training to equip you with the tools and resources needed to succeed. * Opportunity to work on a temporary project with a chance of contract extension. * Flexible scheduling, with hours of operation varying from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (subject to business needs). * Remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from anywhere in the 50 states (excluding Puerto Rico). * Career growth opportunities and learning benefits. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. **Screening and Background Checks** You may be required to undergo background screening and fingerprinting as a requirement of the project. **Reasonable Accommodation** blithequark complies with federal and state disability laws and makes reasonable accommodation for applicants and employees with disabilities.
