Job Overview

We're offering an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated RN - NICU to provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and medical conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in unit meetings, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and policy development
• Adhere to Vetted Health's policies, procedures, and standards of care

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of California or eligible for licensure
• 2 years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or similar setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• National and state certification in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
