Job Description: Remote Customer Service Representative
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through timely and effective communication. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email, resolving inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Open, maintain, and resolve Customer Care tickets by recording issues and account information using computer technology.
- Manage a large volume of incoming emails and calls in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing tickets effectively.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer experiences, determining the cause of issues, and explaining the best solutions.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions.
- Leverage scripts for email and phone conversations to properly represent the blithequark voice and tone.
- Answer questions about damage claims and escalate to the proper manager to bring them to closure.
- Participate in meetings with the customer service team to develop new strategies and improve processes.
- Demonstrate flexibility in handling changes in policies or procedures, adapting to new situations with ease.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven customer support experience, ideally in the automotive industry, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening abilities, with the capacity to empathize with customers and resolve issues effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to different types of customers, providing personalized support and solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both externally and internally, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, meeting productivity and quality standards.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of experience; post-secondary school education may substitute for years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of customer interactions.
- Familiarity with customer service software and technologies, such as ticketing systems and CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry, including oil change services and vehicle maintenance.
- Certifications or training in customer service, such as customer service certifications or automotive industry-specific training.

Work Schedule and Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to work a schedule of 10 am - 7 pm with an hour lunch, and be willing to work weekends. This is a remote position, and you'll be expected to have a dedicated workspace with a reliable internet connection and necessary equipment.
