As a Key Information Researcher in the Attractions group, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge data analysis and machine learning (ML) models that power enchanting experiences across blithequark Encounters (DX).

About the Role

This remote opportunity allows you to be an integral part of the blithequark family from the comfort of your own home. As a Key Information Researcher, you will report to Attractions Functional Innovation and collaborate closely with internal partners to deliver exceptional visitor experiences through intelligent and data-driven systems. With no prior experience necessary, this role is perfect for individuals with a passion for customer service and a love for all things blithequark!

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation, establishment, and support of data analysis and ML models for attractions, working closely with internal partners to deliver elite visitor experiences.
  • Engage with research and colleagues to drive ML strategies and identify areas where business problems can be solved creatively by applying ML.
  • Lead and collaborate with various specialists and data researchers to implement and scale ML solutions that create enchanting experiences for visitors and push the boundaries of operational goals.
  • Drive innovative work, proofs of concept, technology cash drives, and client interactions that lead to expanding top-tier AI platforms.
  • Manage functional support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team.
  • Develop standard techniques used in everyday operations and collaborate with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space.
  • Productionize ML algorithms in predictive analytics, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and more, evaluating their performance on real-world datasets.
  • Collaborate with various teams to achieve goals in improving system performance, coordinating with existing software practices that produce viable code.

Required Capabilities and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • 2+ years of mastery in Python and predictive modeling experiences, such as TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, etc.
  • 2+ years of expert-level experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
  • Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Object-Oriented Programming Design Patterns.
  • Expert-level experience in structured and unstructured data (i.e., images, video, text, etc.) and SQL relational and non-relational databases.
  • 2+ years of experience with Workflow or another data workflow management instrument.
  • Experience with amendment control programming, like GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in driving discovery processes with partners to identify business requirements and the expected outcome, strong relational abilities, and a determination to finish responsibilities.
  • Solid systems integration architecture abilities, capable of transforming new tech into business solutions.

Preferred Capabilities

Additional skills that will give you a competitive edge:

  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with control frameworks.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud arrangements in GCP or another cloud stage.
  • Experience with Atlassian Instruments like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with Agile advancement techniques.
  • Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous development.
  • Experience with information representation and information checking instruments (e.g., Splunk, Plotly, Tableau).
  • Experience with sound examination.
  • Experience with text examination.

Education and Background

A Master's degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical background is required. A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
