Job Summary
This role is pivotal in directly interacting with patients, influencing generic utilization, addressing queries, resolving issues, and providing educational support. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, able to work independently while being part of a larger team, and passionate about delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate the benefits of generic medications or other appropriate therapies to patients, aiming to provide overall savings to both patients and clients.
- Collaborate closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, ensuring a patient-centric approach.
- Undertake numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients remain on their medications and are compliant with their therapies.
- Effectively manage incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gathering patient and order information.
- Utilize knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements to dispense, process new referrals, and provide customer education.
- Conduct routine assessments and identify problems, escalating them appropriately to pharmacists when necessary.
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.
- At least 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or a similar application.
- Residency in the state of Nevada.
- A verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not mandatory, having experience in healthcare or insurance can be beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also advantageous. Key skills include:

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is between $17.00 and $28.45 per hour. In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
