Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and prescribers. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize blithequark's solution information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollments by entering data into the proper system.
  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing medication data and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
  • Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
  • Resolve Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections.
  • Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations.
  • Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down a computer, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print reports, and access information online).
  • Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
