Our people are the driving force behind our technology, and we're committed to empowering them with the skills and expertise needed to succeed in the future. **Job Summary** As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data into our database systems. This is a full-time position available for both night and day shifts, offering the flexibility to work remotely. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability for analysis and reporting purposes. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines, datasets, and ETL processes for our Supported Pursuit Publishing platform * Work with cloud-based platforms like Azure and Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and analysis * Develop and deploy large-scale, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on public clouds like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure * Collaborate with scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations to ensure seamless data integration and analysis * Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to investigate production issues across cross-functional teams * Develop and maintain robust, adaptable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of data to support marketing on Walmart.com and its subsidiaries **What You'll Bring** * Demonstrated aptitude in data engineering concepts, data set design, ETL cycles, and data mining * Proficiency in working with data technologies such as SQL, Python, Flash, Scala, Hadoop, and related tools and frameworks * Experience with ETL tools like Apache NiFi * Solid skills working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra) * Experience with real-time data processing using Apache Kafka * Experience in designing and implementing data models for efficient storage and recovery * A growth-oriented mindset and a willingness to raise the technical bar, as well as identify potential opportunities for improving existing processes, tools, and frameworks to achieve high scalability and efficiency * Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, as well as distributed computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure, and stored data frameworks like Hive and Hadoop **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field * Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences * A solid sense of responsibility and ownership, self-discipline, and focus on high-quality expectations, with a team-oriented approach that values design thinking, efficiency, and innovation **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field * Experience with cloud-based platforms like Azure and Google Cloud * Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with distributed computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure * Experience with stored data frameworks like Hive and Hadoop **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Flexible remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Opportunities to work on high-impact projects and contribute to the future of retail **How to Apply** If you're passionate about data engineering, cloud computing, and collaboration, and you're looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we want to hear from you!
