About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Specialty Representative to join our team in Melbourne, FL, working remotely. As a key customer contact, you'll be responsible for executing our marketing strategy and promoting Amgen's products to medical professionals in the cardiovascular field. Your territory will cover Melbourne, Port St. Lucie, Vero Beach, Palm Bay, and Sebastian, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals, effectively communicating their clinical and economic benefits.
- Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by executing and delivering branded sales messages strategies, including delivering sales messages, executing planned programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, developing territory plans with the District Manager.
- Sustain passion for Amgen's products throughout the sales cycle, building the brand and serving patients.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices, staying curious and continuously learning to grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
- Leverage knowledge of disease state awareness, industry, regulatory, and competitive changes to deliver agreed results.
Qualifications and Skills
We value diverse backgrounds and experiences, but there are some essential qualifications we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry, with a focus on areas like oncology, nephrology, or cardiology.
- A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration is highly desirable.
- Local market knowledge and adaptability to our Core Competencies are essential, including Planning and Organizing, Leveraging Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge, Communicating with Impact, Driving for Results, and Cultivating Internal and External Relationships.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $119,941 - $147,206. Actual salary will vary based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
