About the Role: Analyst - Data Protection & Privacy
As a Data Entry Specialist focusing on Data Protection & Privacy at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in our Digital Technology team, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary of $26/hour. Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, adhering to Data Protection & Privacy requirements and policies.
- Collaborate with various levels of management and teams to ensure compliance with local, domestic, and international data protection regulations.
- Work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines, handling multiple tasks concurrently and demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Utilize interpersonal skills, approachability, and effective listening to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of blithequark's cybersecurity program by identifying and interpreting non-compliance patterns and their impact on risk levels.
- Maintain reliable, punctual attendance and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a STEM-associated field, with a strong understanding of Data Protection & Privacy principles and policies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- The capacity to perform under strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can significantly enhance your candidacy:
- CISA certification or similar professional credentials in cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles, protocols, and security measures.
- Understanding of security engineering and architecture principles, as well as cryptography and cryptographic key control.
- Hands-on experience with Data Protection & Privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities.
