About blithequark and the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the frontline ambassador for our organization, providing top-notch support to customers navigating our home delivery pharmacy and pharmacy benefits services. This is a full-time, remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. You'll be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively to drive health outcomes and advance health equity on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to a high volume of incoming customer calls (60-80 per day) with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ask pertinent questions, listen actively, and document required information in our computer systems to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Occasionally make outbound calls to customers for follow-ups, ensuring that their concerns are addressed and their needs are met.
  • Navigate complex computer system applications with ease, leveraging your technical skills to provide efficient and effective support.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) OR 2 years of equivalent work experience.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service over the phone.
  • Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to commit to 3-4 weeks of paid training with 100% attendance, working regular hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST, Monday - Friday).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of 8-hour shift schedules, including weekends and occasional overtime during peak seasons.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Call center experience, with a background in handling high-volume customer inquiries.
  • Experience with virtual learning environments and virtual working arrangements.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and systems, including web, chat, and email support.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or insurance environments, including medical terminology, health plan documents, and benefit plan design.

Soft Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You'll be expected to:

  • Handle a minimum of 50 calls daily, maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
  • Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and a customer-centric approach in your daily work.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive team success and achieve shared goals.

Telecommuting Requirements

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be required to:

  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of company-sensitive documents.
  • Create a dedicated workspace that is separate from living areas and ensures information privacy.
  • Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection (via a hard-wired connection to a modem or router).
