Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale data systems, including data pipelines, architectures, and tools
• Collect and process large, complex sets of data to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
• Identify, plan, and execute process improvements, including re-architecting infrastructure for greater scalability, improving data delivery, and automating manual processes
• Construct required frameworks for timely extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
• Develop analytical tools to leverage the data pipeline, providing valuable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data, design, product, and executive teams, to help them with data-related technical issues
• Develop or modify hardware and technology to serve customer needs
• May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Managers

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or a related field
• Strong expertise in data engineering, architecture, and analytics
• Proficiency in AWS and SQL technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or a related field
• Experience with data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure
