Position Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to work from home in Orlando, Florida. As a member of our Caremark Member Operations team, you'll be responsible for providing heart-driven service to our millions of plan members. You'll take inbound calls, answer questions, and resolve issues related to prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to plan members via inbound calls, ensuring that their questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans, including prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with members, resolve issues, and provide solutions.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing call volumes, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve business objectives, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements, maintaining confidentiality and security of member information.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, or military experience.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications, with excellent typing skills and accuracy.
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism.
  • Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner, with patience and empathy.
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 months of healthcare experience.
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to exhibit patience and empathy, with a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life.
