Director, Cybersecurity Technology Protection
Description:
• Lead design, development, engineering, deployment and operational components of Cleveland Clinic’s infrastructure protection capabilities
• Develop and implement enterprise information security solutions to address current and emerging security and compliance needs
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity strategy and architecture
• Lead the Technology Protection team as point person, providing leadership, management, and operational oversight
• Define tailored cybersecurity protection capabilities and a roadmap; develop underlying resources to enable them
• Create and implement repeatable processes to manage the lifecycle of enterprise cybersecurity protection capabilities
• Partner with Procurement and Legal to manage suppliers, service providers and business partners
• Manage operating and project budgets; secure executive support for funding levels; build operating and capital budgets and review finances monthly
• Manage hiring, performance management, training, skill development, and employee engagement for the team
• Drive efficiencies, disclose variances to leadership, and achieve financial goals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• ITIL Foundations certification required within six months of position start date
• Minimum of 15 years of total related experience including engineering of security protection tools and capabilities (IDS, DLP, WAF, CASB)
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive management experience
• Complete understanding of major cybersecurity technology solutions including advanced malware detection/prevention, mobile device virtualization/MDM, data protection for the Cloud, NAC, next generation Firewalls, database encryption, mobile application security, medical device security
• Proven skills in managing all aspects (scope, budget, schedule, & quality) of IT service delivery engagements in Fortune 100 scale environments
• Extensive experience in successfully operating and maintaining large-scale, complex, mission-critical IT solutions
• Strong communication, leadership, team building and project management skills
• Demonstrated ability in established functional teams and marshalling requisite resources to achieve defined goals
• Tested business acumen and sound judgement in stressful and critical situations
• Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal/external customers, stakeholders, suppliers, business partners and industry peers
• On-call requirements
• Must clear controlled substance and nicotine testing; must comply with Cleveland Clinic influenza prevention program
