Key Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the Supply Chain department and its collaboration with other departments
- Assist and lead assigned projects, driving process improvements for increased efficiencies and waste elimination
- Support new product launches by managing master data in ERP systems, sourcing suppliers, and analyzing quotes
- Perform supply chain analysis, including forecasting, performance metrics, and order management
- Conduct statistical analysis and provide insight reporting on commodity spend and sales analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the procurement of high-quality and competitive parts or services
- Monitor cost changes, assist in cost-saving opportunities, and develop reports to track departmental metrics
- Create and deliver presentations to management on supplier performance and other critical topics
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, including pivot tables, to inform sourcing decisions and cost optimization
Essential Qualifications
To be a strong candidate for this Supply Chain Intern role, you must:
- Be currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program in Engineering, Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, suppliers, and employees at all levels
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain a safe work environment
- Have strong computer skills with proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be able to lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will set you apart as a top candidate:
- Previous internship or work experience in supply chain management or a related field
- Knowledge of ERP systems, such as Infor LN
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to join our esteemed rotational program, which includes:
- Two years, with four six-month rotations within the Supply Chain and Operations discipline
- On-site roles and at least one rotation on-site
- Cross-functional learning across Supply Chain and Operations
- Networking opportunities between all functions, including Engineering, Sales, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance
- Assignment of a peer mentor/on-the-job coach
- Green Belt training and project in a functional area during the second rotation
- End-of-rotation report-outs to the leadership team in Supply Chain and Operations
- Final role placement within the Supply Chain and Operations discipline based on business needs and team members' interests
