In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing a pipeline of short-, medium-, and long-term opportunities across various states, project types, and markets. As a key member of the sales team, you will lead the sales cycle, including deal origination, project development management, contract negotiation, and closing. Your expertise in techno-financial analysis, contract negotiation, and project development will be essential in driving business growth and expanding Tesla's presence in the renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline of short-, medium-, and long-term opportunities across various states, project types, and markets
- Lead the sales cycle, including deal origination, project development management, contract negotiation, and closing
- Conduct techno-financial analysis of opportunities, identifying related risks, optimizing technical and business factors, and articulating Tesla's value versus competitive offerings
- Provide answers to management as and when required
- Create proposals and supply clients with high-grade, accurate project proposals, often in response to highly complex and formal utility RFPs
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- At least 4 years of work experience in the renewable energy space and additional power sector
- Experience in sales or business development (client-facing)
- Working knowledge of battery systems, renewable energy, and grid markets
- Active contract negotiation experience in energy storage or renewables
- Experience managing cross-functional projects in high-speed, dynamic settings
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills in regard to complex cost models, capacity/renewable project economics, techno-financial advancements, quantitative risk analysis, etc.
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally facing
- Proficiency in MS Suite
- Ability to execute and manage multiple tasks in parallel
- A deep passion for accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy
- Ability to occasionally travel
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with utility-scale BESS solutions
