[Remote] Cybersecurity Service Desk Agent (entry-level / remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pellera Technologies is seeking a driven individual for the entry-level role of Cybersecurity Service Desk Agent. The role involves monitoring and managing client systems, identifying and investigating cyber threats, and interfacing with clients professionally.
Responsibilities
• Monitor, manage and secure client systems
• Identify, track and investigate threat campaigns and malicious cyber actors
• Analyze security threats from a wide range of technologies
• Escalate incidents based on established processes
• Document incident details within ticketing system
• Interface with clients in a professional manner
• Perform other tasks when deemed necessary
Skills
• Burning passion for breaking into the cybersecurity industry
• Critical thinking and investigative skills
• Some knowledge of cyber threat actors and campaigns
• Some knowledge of threat analysis and reporting
• An understanding of what security technologies are capable of such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint security, vulnerability management and patch
• Understanding of computing, network and security fundamentals
• Prior experience utilizing a ticketing system is highly desired
• 1-2 years working within customer service is a plus
• CompTIA certifications are a plus
