About the Role
This position is a key member of the Compliance Group within the People/HR Division at blithequark. As an Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR Compliance team and Operations with tasks including obtaining fingerprint/background investigation results and processing unique mark freedom letters; maintaining associations with TSA, Airport Authority Sheets, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Services; faxing/checking US Customs results; and database entry.
- Process daily FBI fingerprints into the Access database and investigate any dataset issues, ensuring seamless operations.
- Design and analyze HR Compliance data between various documents, working closely with HRIS and EC systems to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct high-level investigations, create custom reporting/dashboards, and standardize all data used for HR Compliance, driving informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with clients and the team on a regular basis to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Review completed Unique Mark Applications and check for accuracy, retransmitting fingerprints to the TSA Clearinghouse as necessary.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) applications and the TSA Clearinghouse database, or the ability to learn these systems quickly.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formatting, creating complex formulas, and Vlookup, to analyze and interpret data effectively.
- Proficiency in advanced Access skills to manage and analyze large datasets.
- The ability to interpret large sets of data to develop meaningful reports, driving insights and decision-making.
- Excellent decision-making skills and strong organizational abilities, ensuring you can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges.
- The capacity to ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and government requirements, upholding the highest standards of compliance.
- The ability to educate specialty units on government requirements, internal and external processes, and results, demonstrating your expertise and leadership.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Capabilities
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences can enhance your application:
- Previous experience in a compliance or HR role, providing a deeper understanding of the regulatory landscape.
- Familiarity with HRIS and EC systems, allowing for smoother integration into our existing infrastructure.
- A background in data analysis or a related field, demonstrating your ability to work with complex data sets.
