Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Business Sales Account Manager at Verizon, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction through strategic partnerships and technology expertise. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, developing, and qualifying leads within your assigned territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and modern social selling techniques.
- Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets, while retaining, managing, and growing existing customer relationships.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, including:
- A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience, with a proven track record of sales success and a strong understanding of business principles and practices.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience, with experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation, as well as a willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.
- A valid driver's license, and a strong ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and accomplish goals in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:
- A degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or technology, with certifications or college courses in sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling, with a strong understanding of technology sales and educational experience.
- Experience with SaaS sales, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools, as well as social media and digital marketing platforms.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is between $50,000 and $92,000 annually, depending on your location, experience, and performance.
