Job Responsibilities

As a Care Navigator - Certified Biller, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Receiving medical claims from reputed company providers (HCPs) or patients and vetting them against program-specific business rules to determine if the claim should be reputed company or rejected
• Ensuring adequate supporting documentation has been provided and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and CMS1500 forms
• Providing support to customers reputed company telephone, email, fax, or other available means of contact to the Support Center
• Recognizing operational challenges and suggesting recommendations to management as necessary
• Working 40 hours per week under moderate supervision

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• reputed company Medical Billing Certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience in claim processing and medical billing
• Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and CMS1500 forms
• HIPAA training

Preferred Qualifications:

• Infusion or Hospital Billing Experience
• Customer Service Experience
• Pharmacy Technician experience
