About the Role: Coca-Cola Account Manager

We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to serve as the primary Coca-Cola contact for large and small store managers or store owners within a designated sales territory. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, increasing business through sales and product ordering, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Excellence: Execute and close all sales calls, achieving sales targets and growing business within your territory.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and owners, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Merchandising and Displays: Sell in incremental displays and equipment placements, promotional programs, and ensure dealer compliance with company merchandising standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels, ensure accurate ordering and stocking of products, and minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Point of Sale and Advertising: Transport, replace, and maintain point of sale advertising, product displays, and signage as needed.
  • Account Activities and Reporting: Communicate account activities to relevant parties, providing updates on sales, inventory, and customer issues.
  • Customer Service: Act as an ambassador for the company, providing exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel.
  • Product Handling and Rotation: Ensure proper rotation of products, identify and manage expired or damaged products, and facilitate returns to the distribution center.
  • Physical Demands: Periodic lifting of 50+ pounds, bending, reaching, and kneeling may be required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: 1+ year of general work experience; 1+ year of previous sales experience preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Food and beverage industry experience a plus.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
    • Excellent planning and organization skills.
    • Proficient computer application skills.
    • Ability to create and conduct sales presentations preferred.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales and Customer Service Experience: Proven track record of success in sales and customer relationship management.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Coca-Cola products and merchandising standards.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
