We're currently seeking part-time/casual Customer Service & Sales Assistants to join our team in various locations, including Sales, Print Shop Technology, Loss Prevention, and Textbooks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Service: Greet and welcome customers and guests, demonstrate "active selling," provide product information and guidance, and ensure a high-quality customer service experience.
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining the appearance of the sales floor, set up seasonal promotions/visual displays, and regularly monitor assigned areas for product restocking and recovery.
  • Point of Sale Support: Operate cash registers, assist customers with check-out, and execute appropriate cash handling procedures.
  • Inventory & Order Fulfillment Support: Help receive and process incoming merchandise and assist with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests; possibly handling seasonal perishable goods.
  • Customer Care: Support the digital and in-store shopping experience through assisting with responding to customer inquiries.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Pleasant Personality: Must have a pleasant personality and excellent customer service skills.
  • Computer/Systems Competency: Moderate computer/systems competency.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed, and stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Retail Experience: Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required.
