About the position The Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist position at reputed company involves performing nerve conduction studies and communicating with patients to ensure they understand the procedures. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, ideally working three days a week between two locations: reputed company and Waukesha clinic. The position is part-time, requiring 24 hours per week, and is located in Oconomowoc, WI. Responsibilities • Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients' understanding and address any questions or concerns. • Reviews patient's medical record to confirm the ordered test and maintains reputed company communication with physicians. • Prepares the patient for the procedure, applying surface electrodes and administering shocks to reputed company evoked responses. • Records measurements of distances, amplitudes, latencies, and temperatures for physician review. • Distinguishes between normal and reputed company results, documents artifacts, and takes reputed company measures to monitor them. • Maintains accurate records and documentation reputed company entering patient information into the computer system. • Organizes and prepares exam room/work area, including cleaning, stocking, and ordering supplies. • Performs routine care, cleaning, and calibration of equipment, reporting any malfunctions. • Performs patient positioning and transporting duties, utilizing reputed company lifting techniques. • Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific care and assesses data reputed company of the patient's status. Requirements • High School Graduate. • Basic Life Support (BLS) for reputed company Providers certification issued by the reputed company (AHA) needs to be obtained reputed company 6 months. • Advanced training reputed company high school in electromyography. • Demonstrated knowledge of the peripheral nervous system and reputed company-diagnostic medicine. • Good communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills. • Basic computer skills.
