Title: Back-End Engineer - API & MCP Server Development Location: reputed company, CT (highly preferred) or Morristown, NJ. Duration: 6+ Months Contract role Role: Remote. Required Skills & Qualifications: 13-15 years of software engineering experience, preferably in back-end and reputed company-based environments. Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in FastAPI and reputed company. Deep understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation. Hands-on experience with AWS services: reputed company, API Gateway, reputed company (Fargate or EC2-backed). Practical experience with containerization using reputed company or Podman. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and service orchestration. Experience with asynchronous programming in Python (e.g., asyncio, aiohttp). Exposure to infrastructure as reputed company tools like Terraform or AWS CDK. Experience with monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, reputed company, Grafana). Good understanding of API and reputed company reputed company best practices. Additional Required Experience (as per latest guidelines): Must have at least one hands-on implementation of a GenAI project. Must have PoC/PoV experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar AI protocols for LLM integration.
