Key Responsibilities and Functions

  • Order Entry and ERP Management:
    • Accurately and efficiently execute order entry into our ERP systems, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
    • Utilize JD Edwards for comprehensive customer account management and issue resolution, addressing a wide range of customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Multichannel Customer Interaction:
    • Manage a high volume of customer calls with professionalism and poise, identifying and addressing customer needs effectively.
    • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via email and chat, ensuring a consistent level of service across all channels.
  • Website Navigation and Product Expertise:
    • Navigate blithequark's website with ease to assist customers with product information, availability, and ordering processes.
    • Develop a strong understanding of our vast product catalog, comprising over 15,000 products, to offer informed recommendations and solutions.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various internal departments to resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge Base Utilization:
    • Efficiently use our knowledge base to find answers and provide accurate information to customers, enhancing your independence and productivity.
    • Stay updated on product knowledge and company processes to continually improve customer support.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility:

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED as a minimum educational requirement.
  • At least six months of customer service experience, with a preference for those with background in service center customer service or data entry.
  • Proficient computer skills, including strong typing and data entry abilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with order management systems, Live Chat, and high-volume email support is highly desirable.
  • The ability to handle a continuous flow of customers and manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment.
  • Excellent web navigation skills to locate information and the ability to toggle between multiple systems to access customer data.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to handle complex customer issues, resolve conflicts, and find effective solutions.
  • A detail-oriented approach with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions using skills acquired in initial training and leveraging web-based and desktop resources.
