About the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Team

The MSP team at blithequark is at the forefront of driving future innovation across all aspects of mechatronics and packaging. We focus on industrial hardware and control machines, including robotic cells, autonomous vehicles, sortation, packing technologies, and packaging materials. Our strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, WW Design, and more, enable us to deliver robust products that seamlessly integrate into the blithequark fulfillment network. As a member of this team, you will contribute to the development of virtual testing platforms that allow for the simulation of end-to-end solutions, ensuring that products meet the required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training, deployment, process integration, and service support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software.
• Virtually ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training, deployment, process integration, and service support prior to delivery.
• Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products, communicating these to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams.
• Coordinate simulations and testing processes, identifying and analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommending solutions.
• Connect with internal customers, review client, customer, and user feedback, and maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance.
• Proven experience in fulfillment systems, including storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment.
• Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management.
• Project managing skills to start and finish projects successfully.
