About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers via phone, answering their queries, and providing them with a personalized experience. The majority of our Customer Service Representatives work from the comfort of their own homes in Vermont, while others prefer to work in our call centers in Manchester and Rutland, Vt. You'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure you're equipped to handle customer inquiries and provide top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer phone calls to assist with placing orders from our catalog or online store
  • Respond to customer inquiries about products and orders, providing accurate and timely information
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our products to make informed recommendations and resolve customer issues
  • Build strong relationships with customers through engaging and personalized interactions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer calls and resolving issues efficiently

Who We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a Vermont resident, with a reliable internet connection (at least 30mbps) if you're working remotely. You should be at least 16 years old, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. We're looking for team players who are flexible, dependable, and able to learn new computer applications quickly. If you're comfortable using a computer keyboard and mouse, and are eager to work in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Vermont residency
  • Internet speed of at least 30mbps for remote work
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Dependable and enthusiastic team player
  • Ability to learn new computer applications
  • Basic computer skills (keyboard and mouse)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Current Customer Service Hours of Operation

We're currently operating our customer service team on the following schedule:

  • Monday - Saturday: 8:00am - 8:00pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am - 6:30pm

Equipment and Support

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll receive a laptop, monitor, and keyboard to ensure you have the necessary tools to perform your job. We'll also provide you with comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed in your role.
