About the Role: Bilingual Customer Service Representative
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team as a Commercial Energy Customer Care Representative. As a key member of our specialized energy efficiency team, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service, processing energy efficiency applications, and providing technical support to our utility clients and their customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in non-scripted customer interactions via phone, email, and software chat applications, providing personalized support and resolving customer inquiries.
- Conduct professional outreach to customers, applicants, and program participants, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Review and assist customers with energy application inquiries and program questions, providing expert guidance and support.
- Perform administrative duties as assigned, maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives, demonstrating a strong team player mentality.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of professional work experience, preferably in a customer-facing or back-office environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other programs within the MS Office Suite (2+ years of experience).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous business processing or back-office experience.
- Ability to accurately process applications within a highly repetitive processing environment.
- Previous sales or customer service experience.
- Computer skills, including data entry with a high degree of accuracy and speed, and database navigation.
- Experience working with program participants ranging from homeowners to contractors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Typing speed of 45-50 wpm.
