Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Gun Drilling Machine Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining gun drilling machines, ensuring high-quality products, and meeting production targets. Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Load, monitor, and maintain gun drilling machines to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency.
• Inspection: Inspect parts during and after manufacturing to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintenance: Perform general upkeep and maintenance of drilling machines to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Quality Control: Identify and address any quality issues or defects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Production Targets: Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and safety.

Physical Demands:

• Lifting: Ability to lift 25-50 lbs throughout an 8-10 hour shift.
• Physical Activity: Comfortable walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing/sitting for the duration of the shift.

Essential Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Mechanically inclined with prior machine operator or gun drilling experience.
• Blueprint Reading: Experience reading blueprints and understanding technical specifications.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift 25-50 lbs throughout an 8-10 hour shift.
• Work Environment: Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: CNC machine operation certification or experience with CNC machines.
• Software Skills: Familiarity with manufacturing software and technology.
• Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
