Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and small group tutoring sessions to support students' academic success
• Regularly meet with assigned students to review course content, integrate effective study and learning strategies, and coach solutions to problems
• Teach study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies to help students develop a robust toolkit for academic achievement
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessment, progress, feedback, and performance
• Collaborate with students to set goals, identify areas for improvement, and develop a growth mindset

Essential Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to ongoing professional development

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics, particularly in a higher education setting
