About Our Managed Services Team
Our Managed Services area is comprised of fleet and regulatory compliance experts who are relied upon by clients to manage the time-consuming and complex tasks associated with driver safety and vehicle compliance. With a team of over 400 compliance associates working tirelessly to ensure our clients stay up-to-date on various regulatory requirements, we are looking for a leadership position to oversee a team of eight associates responsible for creating training content, documentation, and delivering training to new and current associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, Develop, and Coach Team:
- Provides clear expectations, feedback, and recognition to team members.
- Participates in the hiring and selection process for new team members.
- Writes and conducts performance evaluations and progress reports.
- Handles associate relations issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Deliver Results:
- Associate retention: Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Budget control: Manage expenses in line with departmental budgets.
- Productivity gains: Implement efficient processes and training methods.
- Training effectiveness: Continuously evaluate and improve training programs.
- Develop Tools and Resources:
- Contribute to the design and development of content-based curricula for online training, Instructor Led Training (ILT), and Blended Learning.
- Maintain expertise in eLearning techniques and technology.
- Evaluate and recommend software and tools to enhance training delivery.
- Manage Training Programs:
- Maintain the Managed Services training course catalog, ensuring relevance and impact.
- Manage new hire training for all new associates and internal transfers.
- Collaborate with area management to identify and facilitate improvements in training and processes.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in training within an office environment.
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining training materials.
- Prior curriculum development and instructional design leadership experience is preferred.
- Prior leadership experience is highly valued.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or education-related field.
- Coursework in adult education/learning is desirable.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, 4+ years of combined education and closely-related experience may be considered.
- Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of eLearning course creation and design.
- Understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
