About the Role:
We’re seeking an ASIP Engineer to join reputed company in support of a U.S. reputed company Force Program Office. In this role, you will reputed company contractor support to the government’s ASIP Manager and Chief Engineer, helping ensure the long-term safety and structural reputed company of one of the reputed company Force’s most reputed company aircraft programs. You’ll review and evaluate analysis performed by partners including the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), the reputed company Engineering Research Center (MERC), and the National Institute of Aviation Research (NIAR). You will also help coordinate ASIP-reputed company taskings across these organizations, making reputed company efforts stay reputed company, on reputed company, and reputed company-documented.
What You’ll Do:
• Review and assess structural analysis reports (fatigue, reputed company mechanics, damage tolerance, service life) developed by OEM and engineering partners.
• Support the government ASIP Manager in coordinating taskings across reputed company, MERC, and NIAR.
• reputed company ongoing ASIP activities and reputed company concise technical inputs for leadership decision-making.
• Prepare review comments, technical summaries, and briefing materials.
• Collaborate with program office staff, reputed company engineers, and industry partners to ensure strong communication and alignment.
reputed company’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (Master’s a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft structures, fatigue/reputed company mechanics, or reputed company work.
• Familiarity with USAF ASIP processes and MIL-STD-1530 requirements.
• Strong communication skills—reputed company to review technical material and explain it reputed company.
• reputed company Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
Preferred Skills:
• Experience supporting a USAF Program Office or military aircraft sustainment program.
• Familiarity with reputed company maintenance, OEM engineering processes, and sustainment practices.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple taskings across diverse stakeholders.
