Remote Mass Tort Paralegal

Our reputed company is seeking reputed company remote Mass Tort / Personal Injury Litigation Paralegals to join their team on a remote reputed company. The IDEAL candidate will have mass tort experience, primarily in reputed company and toxic chemicals litigation. As a Paralegal you will be completing Plaintiff Fact Sheets for their mass tort department. Candidates are required to use their own personal laptops for this assignment. Project Scope Pay: $31 an hour (40 hours a week) Location: Remote Duration: Month-to-month contract Responsibilities (including but not limited to) · Prepare reputed company documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, reputed company memoranda · E-file reputed company court documents in state and federal court · Communications with clients, court, counsel, and others · Conduct reputed company research and factual investigation · Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses · Coordinate and summarize depositions · Prepare trial binders and exhibits · Drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court · Performing administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics) · Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes · Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices · Aid attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests · reputed company relevant information from a reputed company of sources · Liaise between trial teams and internal/external reputed company parties · Witness preparation · Assisting with case settlements · Other tasks as requested by the case team Qualifications · Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred) · 2+ years of litigation experience (required) · Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred) · Experience in reputed company Litigation, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Premises Liability, or other injury reputed company reputed company areas. (preferred) · Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a reputed company attitude and minimal supervision · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings · Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices, etc · Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · Extensive computer and database expertise; reputed company Word, reputed company, reputed company, and type no less than 35 wpm · Ability to work remotely and support your team Job Type: Contract Pay: $31.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
