Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Inputting and updating data into various systems and databases with high accuracy, ensuring that all data is entered correctly and efficiently.
  • Verifying data integrity and accuracy by comparing it to source documents, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors.
  • Managing and organizing digital files and records effectively, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Communicating with team members and supervisors to ensure data requirements are met, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or errors in the data entry process, implementing process improvements as needed.
  • Adhering to data privacy and confidentiality guidelines at all times, maintaining the security and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Performing other administrative tasks as needed, providing support to the team and contributing to the smooth operation of the organization.

Requirements

To be successful as a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Proven experience in data entry or similar administrative roles, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software, with excellent typing skills and accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with data management software and systems, including database management and data analytics.
  • Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Administrative Professional (CAP).
