About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as project management, finance, human resources, and information technology.
• Collaborate on business strategy and identify strategic opportunities.
• Support cross-functional teams to deliver value and improve task execution.
• Design and run dashboards for clear communication across business components.
• Review and support task coordination while identifying process improvements.
• Develop and finalize budgets, policies, and documentation for programs.
• Build trusted relationships within CareFirst to enhance subject-matter expertise and coordination with core operations.
• Communicate strategy, programs, and next steps to leadership and partners.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of experience in business development, operational technology support, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of business goals and priorities.
• Effective communication skills for complex ideas, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional project management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent relationship management skills.
• Strategic thinker and problem solver with collaborative skills.
• Significant experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
