Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your role will be multifaceted, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized and inviting store environment, and supporting the overall success of our store operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in selecting merchandise that meets their needs.
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment that is safe and secure for our customers.
  • Assisting with the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting it from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Remaining vigilant and aware of customer activity to prevent any potential issues.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the effective and profitable operation of our store.

What We're Looking For

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities. Here's what we're looking for:

Essential Qualifications

  • Completion of high school or equivalent; ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or a related field.
  • The ability to lift up to 40lbs regularly and occasionally up to 55lbs, and to meet the physical demands of the job, including frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
  • Availability to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
