blithequark is a leading player in the industry, and we're looking for a talented Senior Analyst, Financial Planning Systems to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Planning Systems space, you'll be responsible for supporting and developing financial systems applications, providing inner consulting services, and identifying automation opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the Hyperion planning application, ensuring accurate and timely financials, including forecasts and actuals.
  • Validates data from Hyperion Financial Management and regulatory bodies.
  • Investigates and resolves data issues, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions.
  • Performs system maintenance, including client permissions and updates.
  • Assists clients with system issues, existing reports, structures, and models.
  • Contributes to in-depth situation and outcome analyses on complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses.
  • Coordinates and completes the monthly headcount process in Hyperion.
  • Updates Hyperion Planning with order changes, coordinating progressive system changes with regulators and GL organization.
  • Collaborates with work groups to determine reporting business requirements, proposing and presenting efficient solutions.
  • Develops Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, and forecasting and planning models for Finance departments.

Requirements for Success

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Systems, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements, financial modeling, and analysis.
  • Strong IT foundation, including experience with Oracle and multi-faceted and social database structures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing Hyperion, including development and administration experience (including Intelligent Reporting, Essbase, Planning).

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in the application of scientific methodologies relating to financial issues.
  • Capacity to issue-solve, model, and analyze data.
  • Meticulous with a focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively in diverse circumstances.
