About the position Responsibilities • Extract, analyze, and transform data to support business intelligence and reporting needs. • Fulfill data requests by developing and implementing data integration solutions, integrating disparate data sources to support reporting, analytics, business needs, and vendor data delivery. • Maintain a knowledge repository documenting data sources, business rules, and processing methodologies. • Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to align data solutions with organizational needs. • Support reporting and visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, internal solutions, and third-party products. • Develop and optimize data solutions using SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation. • Utilize modern data integration technologies, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data solutions (e.g., Spark), to streamline data processing and enhance analytics capabilities. • Provide mentorship, training, and assistance to colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-service analytics. • Maintain system performance by performing regular and critical maintenance tasks within defined service levels. Requirements • Experience utilizing ETL tools and frameworks, including Informatica, SSIS, and data pipelines, for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. • Strong proficiency in SQL with experience accessing and querying various corporate and disparate data sources for analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with modern data architectures, including data lakes, relational databases, and data models. • Hands-on experience with reporting and visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and other related platforms. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing data management challenges, including data quality, data profiling, and other related issues. • Project management skills with a demonstrated ability to complete small to medium-sized projects successfully. • Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance best practices. • Experience working with operational data in the Health Care Industry and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to health care data. Nice-to-haves • Knowledge of data gateways and pipelines for integrating and securely transferring data, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud-based data sources.
