About the position Responsibilities • Monitor the submission of Medical Provider HIV/AIDS and Partner Contact Report Forms. • Assess data quality and completeness of received and entered forms. • Follow up with delinquent reporting providers. • Ensure the timeliness, adequacy, and completeness of surveillance data for HIV diagnoses reporting. • Participate in field surveillance for suspected HIV cases. • Perform other appropriate related duties. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of relevant experience in health, human service, or community-based organization. • Associate's degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience. • Five years of relevant experience in a related field. • Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Nice-to-haves • Experience with public health surveillance and data collection via medical record review and interviewing. • Professional experience interacting with medical professionals. • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills. • Experience with basic SAS, MS Excel, or Access. • Experience working with highly confidential data.
