About the Role: Clinical Support Services Agent

As a Clinical Support Services Agent at blithequark, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and families seeking medical assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to receive initial calls, gather information, and relay it to our team of clinicians. This role requires a unique blend of empathy, active listening, and technical skills, as you'll be working with patients who may be experiencing emotional distress or uncertainty about their medical condition. You'll be trained and supported every step of the way to ensure that you're equipped to handle even the most challenging situations with confidence and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from patients, families, and healthcare providers, and provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Gather information from callers and relay it to our team of clinicians in a timely and accurate manner
  • Remain professional and composed when navigating difficult or emotional conversations
  • Utilize your technical skills to navigate our systems and software, and ensure seamless communication with our clinical team
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your customer care skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities. Additionally, you'll need to have:

  • Accurate keyboard and typing skills, with the ability to meet minimum requirements
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet navigation
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to speak with a smile in your voice
  • Availability to work evening, weekend shifts, and holidays (paid at time ½)
  • Access to high-speed internet on a personal network, and a personal, private, and patient-confidential workspace environment
  • A background check will be conducted as part of the interview process, and a federal work-eligibility check will be conducted upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field
  • Strong technical skills, with experience using software and systems in a customer-facing environment
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
