Key Responsibilities

  • Navigate online systems to verify nurses' credentials after they've selected a healthcare facility they'd like to work with
  • Follow up with nurses via written messages to confirm if their credentials are valid for the selected facility
  • Handle follow-up phone calls with nurses checking on the status of picking up shifts
  • Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Multitask by managing multiple chat channels simultaneously
  • Adhere to communication scripts when handling different topics
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls
  • Perform data entry and customer service tasks with high accuracy
  • Navigate online systems efficiently to complete tasks
  • Process work requests and records for nurses requesting to sign up for shifts
  • Identify customers' needs and research to determine if requests have the required credentials
  • Seamlessly switch between tasks without compromising efficiency or composure
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
  • Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions
  • Demonstrate flexibility to cross-train as requested

Essential Qualifications

  • 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience
  • Technical savviness with ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Previous remote work experience a plus
  • Quick learner with ability to work independently
  • Type 35 words per minute accurately
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry
  • Familiarity with online credentialing systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
  • Paid training: 3 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST)
  • Full-time status: 40 hours per week
  • Equipment provided option: Equipment will be shipped to you for full-time permanent employees

    • Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
