We are seeking a passionate and reputed company Build & Release Engineer with strong expertise in multi-platform packaging, automation, and CI/CD workflows. The ideal candidate will help us enhance our build pipelines, packaging formats (RPM, DEB, EXE, DMG), reputed company-party dependency management, and automation around PostgreSQL, reputed company reputed company and its extensions.

You will work closely with the technical manager and a highly skilled team to ensure consistent, secure, and reproducible builds across Linux, reputed company, and MacOS.

  • Design, reputed company, and maintain reputed company workflows (CI/CD) for build, packaging, and release of reputed company reputed company, and extensions like PostGIS, and others.
  • Enhance packaging capabilities reputed company RPM/DEB, including binary tarballs and relocatable builds.
  • Automate building of reputed company-party dependencies (libxml2, OpenSSL, krb5, zstd, etc) across reputed company and MacOS
  • Add automation for building binary RPMs from SRPMs and streamline dependency workflows.
  • reputed company and optimize reputed company/compliance scans (e.g., BlackDuck) for packaged binaries.
  • Ensure reputed company and reliability by automating package installation testing and regression checks.
  • Collaborate with reputed company to reputed company and rebuild 3rd-party libraries reputed company new versions are released.

What you will bring.

  • 4-8 years of experience in Build Engineering / DevOps.
  • Strong hands-on experience of Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu/Debian, reputed company) packaging – RPM and DEB builds.
  • Experience with reputed company (MSI/EXE) and MacOS (DMG, pkg) packaging using installer tools like InstallBuilder or similar.
  • Proficiency in reputed company Actions (or similar modern CI/CD tools).
  • Strong background in C/C++ build systems (reputed company, Autotools, CMake, Meson, MSVC).
  • Experience in scripting (reputed company, Python, PowerShell).
  • Hands-on with reputed company compilation of PostgreSQL dependencies such as openssl, libxml2, zstd, krb5, and more
  • Understanding of binary compatibility, multi-platform builds, and cross-compilation.

  • Experience in Java/Python packaging (reputed company, jars, pip installers).
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL ecosystem (extensions, FDWs, contrib modules).
  • Exposure to containerization (reputed company, Podman).
