This role is based in Plantation, FL, Seattle, WA, or Boston, MA, offering the flexibility to work from a location that suits your needs. As a Senior CRM Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and measuring the success of promotional and triggered email, push, and in-app campaigns. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize automated email programs, segmentation, and personalization strategies, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a multi-channel roadmap focused on email campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement, with a particular emphasis on the food business at blithequark.
  • Design and execute complex A/B and multivariate testing across emails and customer journeys to determine incrementality and optimal sequencing, informing data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product marketing, engineering, and product management, to ensure seamless campaign execution and technical integration.
  • Analyze various data streams to validate targeting accuracy and build sensitivity models to assess opportunity and risk associated with proposed initiatives.
  • Work closely with the experimentation team to craft a strategic vision and roadmap for automation, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Leverage CRM data to create personalized and contextual experiences, enhancing customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Manage reporting requests and ongoing analyses for campaign performance, providing key insights and strategic learnings to stakeholders.
  • Foster a customer-first approach across all marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with blithequark's customer-centric values.
  • Effectively partner with various teams, including integrated marketing, merchandising, and supply chain, to drive cohesive marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with email and push best practices, technologies, and trends, applying this knowledge to optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with data science and experimentation teams to develop and implement advanced customer segmentation models, improving audience targeting and personalization.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A passion for customer-centric marketing, backed by a proven track record of driving successful campaigns.
  • 7+ years of experience in email and/or direct marketing, preferably in e-commerce.
  • A Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree being a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and identify insights from data.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing campaigns through an enterprise ESP, ideally Braze.
  • A deep understanding of how to leverage behavioral, demographic, and transactional data to drive personalization.
  • Experience with email optimization and personalization platforms, as well as project management tools like JIRA.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to influence data-driven business decisions.
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in email management, with outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and other data analytics tools.
  • Experience working with a Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Understanding of incrementality testing, statistical significance, and lifetime value.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:

  • E-commerce or CPG marketing background.
  • Experience working with Braze or Moveable Ink.
  • Knowledge of the pet food industry.
