Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive customer contacts via telephone to key decision-makers, building relationships and gaining support and commitment to execute initiatives and sales programs.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to monitor relationships, re-affirm strategies, steward the business, and create operational and personal value for the customer.
  • Identify opportunities consistent with customer objectives, priorities, and strategies through discovery, analysis, and observation.
  • Coordinate implementation of agreed-upon activities, such as mechanical service, installation, and business-building initiatives.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and re-negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage customer marketing reimbursements and local store funding programs to drive business results.
  • Accurately capture customer interactions through CRM systems.
  • Manage individual performance to ensure effective and efficient customer contacts and sales initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on potential opportunities to improve individual and team performance.
  • Develop and execute an Individual Development Plan to ensure personal growth and career development.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1+ year of frontline sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in effectively communicating with and influencing customers.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and provide viable solutions based on customer and company needs.
  • Proven ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective collaborating skills.
  • Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation with customers to uncover opportunities and solutions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Advancing the Customer Relationship: Ability to facilitate and accelerate business relationships based on an understanding of the customer.
  • Customer Relationship Transition: Ability to develop and maintain business-to-business relationships and transfer personal equity.
  • Consumer Focus: Demonstrating understanding of how one's actions and work impact the company's relationship with consumers.
  • Computer Capability: Ability to use information tools, such as CRM systems, to obtain needed information and evaluate performance.

Additional Activities and Responsibilities

In addition to the key responsibilities, you may also be required to:

  • Participate in contract negotiations and re-negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Sell, process, and coordinate the installation of equipment.
  • Resolve service issues.
  • Approve reimbursements and resolve customer issues.
  • Authorize account transfer requests.
  • Steward work in regional and account team meetings.
  • Flex the work week to accomplish tasks, such as inputting documents, taking customer calls, and participating in account team calls.
  • Build customer presentations.
  • Travel to customer events, training, and sales conferences.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A salary range of $81,800 - $100,900.
