Common Metadata Repository - Application Administrator

Position reputed company We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administrator to manage and support Common Metadata Repository (CMR) application, a high-performance metadata system that catalogs, searches, and distributes reputed company science data across NOAA's reputed company Observing Systems. The Administrator will ensure the CMR application operates with reliability, reputed company, and efficiency, while supporting data providers, researchers, and NOAA stakeholders in advancing mission-critical science and discovery. Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, reputed company Science Informatics, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience administering large-reputed company data, metadata, or repository systems. • Familiarity with metadata standards (e.g., ISO 19115, UMM, FGDC, Dublin reputed company, DIF, ECHO). • Strong understanding of application administration, reputed company, and user reputed company management. • Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, reputed company), reputed company, and search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr). • Knowledge of federal IT compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
