**Job Summary**
As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our clients' members or customers, answering inbound phone calls, and resolving a range of queries and issues. You'll work from the comfort of your own home, enjoying a flexible and autonomous work environment.
**Responsibilities**
* Perform PCP Change/Provider Lookup to ensure seamless transitions for our clients' members or customers
* Look up Medical Benefits, including benefit maximums, copay/coinsurances, Prior Authorization pre-requisites, and coverage to provide accurate information and support
* Review Ancillary Benefits, such as Dental, Vision, Over the Counter, and other services to ensure our clients' members or customers receive the care they need
* Process claims inquiries, including resolving billing issues and answering questions about services and procedures
* Answer enrollment/disenrollment inquiries, providing clear guidance and support to our clients' members or customers
* Address Grievances/Complaints in a compassionate and empathetic manner, ensuring our clients' members or customers feel heard and valued
* Perform billing tasks, including making payments, reviewing transaction history, and answering premium inquiries
* Manage LEP (Limited English Proficiency) inquiries and disputes, providing support and guidance to our clients' members or customers who require language assistance
* Assist with material requests, such as ID cards, Large/Brail print materials, and Catalogs, to ensure our clients' members or customers receive the resources they need
* Provide self-help options, such as member portal access, to empower our clients' members or customers to take control of their healthcare
* Offer local locations for pharmacies, OTC, and Specialist services, ensuring our clients' members or customers have access to the care they need
**Experience Required for Success**
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* At least a High School diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 18 months Call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
* Healthcare background a plus, but not required
* Minimum of 2 years Computer Experience in a work environment, with a strong understanding of software applications and systems
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands
* Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
* Ability to display empathy and care, providing a compassionate and supportive experience for our clients' members or customers
* Dedicated area to work from in your home, with a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
* Internet speed requirement of 50 Mb/s for download speeds and 10 Mb/s for upload speeds (Wired access only, please)
