About the Role: Customer Service Associate

As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be the first human touchpoint for our customers, providing top-notch support and service through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and promote customer loyalty. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to a high volume of customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing timely and accurate solutions.
  • Track orders, resolve customer complaints, and address concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Identify and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities, promoting relevant products and services to customers.
  • Assist with order verification, damaged/lost package claims, and reshipments, ensuring seamless issue resolution.
  • Utilize our customer service ticketing system (Zendesk or similar) to manage and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting or exceeding performance metrics such as handle time, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A dedicated office/workspace with a reliable computer, 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, and headset.
  • Availability to work 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, with flexibility to work overtime hours and weekends during peak holiday seasons.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role, providing support through multiple channels (email, phone, chat, social media).
  • 1 year of experience working with a customer service ticketing system (Zendesk or similar).
  • Strong computer skills, data-entry/keyboard skills, and experience working with performance metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bi-lingual skills are a plus.
  • High school degree, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • A customer-first mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 6 months of remote work experience, with a proven track record of productivity and self-motivation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts quickly and professionally.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of organization and time management skills.
