About the Role

As a Customer Service Agent - Cargo Operations at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in our cargo operations team, serving as the face of blithequark to our customers and ensuring that freight is shipped on time, every time, and in a secure manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process cargo shipments, track packages, and manage customer records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive success.
  • Lift and move cargo, supplies, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

What You Bring to the Role

Essential Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
  • The ability to lift and move cargo, supplies, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
  • A commitment to safety and security, adhering to blithequark's policies and procedures.
  • A willingness to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cargo handling, warehouse operations, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong typing and computer skills, with proficiency in multiple software applications.
  • A degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
