**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our team on a part-time, weekend schedule. This role involves providing top-notch customer service to claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies, while ensuring accurate and efficient processing of medication benefits. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from home on weekends, with a 4-day, 10-hour weekly schedule.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, inputting, and supporting claimant profiles in our pharmacy network
* Assisting pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications
* Coordinating and liaising with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate medication benefits assignment
* Supporting client needs on requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data
* Managing and updating client and claimant information in multiple systems
* Adjusting to changing processes and needs of various clients
* Answering questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies on any topic related to the claimant's current or previous medications
* Other duties as assigned
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* At least 3 years of related customer service or telephonic experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Proficiency in the use of computers, multiple software systems, and learning of new programs
* Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to handle significant email and phone communications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on active listening and customer service
* Ability to read and interpret documents, such as letters and reports
* Exceptional understanding of proper telephone etiquette and customer service skills
* Familiarity with and ability to work as part of a dedicated team
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
* Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
* Familiarity with Workers Compensation benefit management or related industries
* Certification in customer service or a related field
