Vice President People (HR) & Labor Relations (remote)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Develop and standardize HR strategies across the enterprise.
• Implement innovative processes for performance management and teammate relations.
• Direct operations of internal processes among the Teammate, Physician, and Labor Relations team.
• Establish department objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with HR business partners and legal counsel on compliance and employment-related matters.
• Lead process design and improvement initiatives for the Labor Relations Team.
• Review and improve policies and practices to align with organizational objectives and regulations.
• Set labor relations strategy and influence leaders on related issues.
• Provide leadership in collective bargaining processes and activities.
• Identify and implement technology solutions for better service delivery.
Requirements
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• Typically requires 10 years of experience in resolving complex employee and labor relations issues.
• Includes 7 years of management experience in human resources strategic planning.
• Experience in a complex healthcare organization is a plus.
• Demonstrated advanced consulting skills and ability to develop organizational strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation, employee relations, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Master's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
