Quality Assurance Lead, Client Implementation (100% remote)

About the position Responsibilities • Define the overall testing strategy for a given client implementation • Work with stakeholder to define the test plan and the test execution • Work with the project manager to establish the testing timeline • Participate in the preparation and presentation of QA test strategy to clients • Point of contact for the client regarding the test strategy • Organize meetings with the client to review the test strategy, test grids, etc. • Meet with the client to receive their feedback and priorities on the QA's activities • Manage testing priorities directly with the client QA counterpart • Provide status reports on QA progress, to project manager and client • Lead the transformation of automated testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function Requirements • Have a university education in one of the following: computer science, actuarial science or math, engineering, business or any relevant field • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and minimum 3 years as a QA Lead • Certification in Quality Assurance preferred and will be considered an asset • Excellent knowledge of Quality Assurance processes • Previous experience in testing software, including excellent analytical skills and project management skills • Previous experience in creating test strategy and plans for major projects • Experience with agile methods will be considered an asset • Experience with working with offshore resources will be considered an asset • Strong working knowledge of industry standards and best practices for software testing and test automation • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge in the areas of technology and communications • Have a great attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Available to travel (Canada and US) Nice-to-haves • Experience with agile methods • Experience with working with offshore resources Benefits • Inclusive culture that embraces diversity • Accommodation for applicants with disabilities during the recruitment process Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
